The Third Annual End of Year Survey: 2006 Edition
Before I even begin this, I must first say that my life has been on a downward spiral since 2004 so I don't have many great things to report here :/ lol
1) Where did you ring in 2006?
My mom's house. Boring as fuck. Just me, Erwin, and my parents. I was with Erwin playing a trivia game and my parents were outside watching the fireworks by the lake. Woopty-doo.
2) What was your status by Valentine's Day?
Same as every year. Erwin.
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Yes. MDC(graduated) and FIU(leaving).
4) How did you earn your keep?
By working part-time at Hot Topic since October :/ I'm still loads in debt though -_-
5) Did you ever have to go to the hospital?
Nope.
6) Did you ever encounter the police?
Hmmm. When we got kicked out of the beach for being loud drunks...and getting kicked out of the park...for being loud drunks...LMAO
7) Where did you go on vacation?
Pfft. Nowhere. Although my freinds and I planned on it, we were all too broke.
8) What did you purchase that was over $500?
Umm. No one particular thing or ever in one outing. But I've spent plenty more than that this year!
9) Did you know anybody who got married?
Theresa and Lawrence.
10) Did you know anybody who passed away?
My next door neighbor.
11) Have you ran into anybody you graduated high school with?
Danny Alvarez I guess. Because the others were planned outings, not accidental. I did run into people from high school though like Ronnie and Abigail the other day.
12) Did you move anywhere?
No, but I will be soon :D VEGAS BABY!!! ...or any college town away from this shithole.
13) What sporting events did you go to??
uh...I saw the Heats game on TV? lol
14) What concerts did you go to?
wow...none this year. better go to one before the year is over.
15) Are you registered to vote?
yes. only voted in the last presidential election though. don't ask -_-
16) If so, did you do your patriotic duty on Nov 7?
no, not this year. i was sleeping when my family went :X
17) Where do you live now?
same as last year. in the good ol' mobile home park with my grandparents -_-
18) Describe your birthday:
oh god. do i have to? it was awful. no1 remembered it and i was effin' turning 21! me, the big drunk, 21!! anybody care? no.
friday i went to flanigan's w/ ely, raffy, santi, and erwin only to take out isabel because she had a bad day. saturday i had a huge fight with erwin and then he made it up to me by taking me to chevy's and then to dolphin mall where i did a bit of shopping and to dave&busters, then i went to hard rock w/ carrianne where david, anthony, chris, and santi met us. sunday, my actual birthday, santi came over and we saw ironically a movie entitled "the party" at my mom's. the end. the entire time i was miserable :)
19) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
flake out in school? heh,i hate god damn FIU >_<
20) What is one thing you regretted this year?
losing friends, gaining weight, and getting more into debt. oh yeah, great year!
21) What's something you learned about yourself?
That I need to move on with my life and find solutions to things. I can't plan out my life because unexpected things happen. I need to go with the flow and make the wisest desicions to approach these problems.
22) Any new additions to your family?
Umm...not that I am entirely aware of.
23) What was your best month?
April. I graduated MDC. My last month there was fun and a breeze!
24) What from pop culture will you remember 2006 by?
So much. The overblown "TomKat" wedding? Michael Richards being a racist? Lance Bass coming out? Hmm. No idea :P
25) How would you rate this year with a scale from 1 (shitty) to 100 (great)??
Well, my MAIN goal last year was to graduate this year and at least I got THAT accomplished. I was able to come clean with Erwin about something that had been haunting me and we got past it. Erwin and I both have pretty cool jobs and my family is doing well. Although I don't hang out with anyone anymore, I did quite a few times this summer and it was a blast. And hell, I don't have to have Erwin buy my drinks anymore and sneak around drinking them, I can just whip out my ID! Ahh HELL...who am I kidding, 1!
