What was it with shinigami and their utter inability to answer a question? Not that Jinta was particularly bothered by it--after all, Urahara rarely gave a straight answer to any question--but still. It was a trait that had a tendency to make Jinta want to tug out his hair. Very frustrating, and not their best quality, in his opinion.
Still, just because the big guy didn't want to answer the question didn't mean that Jinta wasn't going to try and guess. Considering how often the shinigami pissed him off, he considered it his duty and privilege to return the favor whenever given the opportunity. And this opportunity couldn't run off.
Out of the corner of his eye, Akon spotted the girl's gigai return, holding the first-aid kit. Again, the 12th divisioner seriously doubted that that little box contained enough bandages to patch up the shinigami captain. And juding from the smiley-faces, hearts, and other bright pictures present on the sterile white surface, it also looked suspiciously like it was made for small children.
Not only would it be a futile effort, but the idea of anyone trying to put a little band-aid (with something like bunny prints) on Zaraki-taichou was ludicrous. And deadly. The well-intentioned person who attemped such a thing would probably have an arm bitten off. So, slipping the syringe back into his sleeve, Akon shrugged and stayed quiet. Perhaps the boy's relentless pestering would make Zaraki-taichou cough up at least a little bit of information, if only to sate the pesky kid's curiosity enough to gain a moment of peace.

Kenpachi scowled at the kid after he spoke. "So what if it was fucking Adaro? Bitch got about as good as she gave." It wasn't quite a lie; he had landed some pretty solid hits on the woman before she retreated for the third damn time in a row. "Plus, she was the one who hightailed it. Woulda got 'er better... 'f she'd had a spine..."
He took a deep breath and tried to get rid of the faint buzzing sound behind his eyes. The pain was a stiff, burning roar in the background, not something he couldn't handle or hadn't dealt with before. After a moment the captain decided it was time to try and force his eyes open; as his eyelids parted, even the dimmed grey sky made him grunt from the brightness. One eye slid back shut before he could stop it, but he valiantly kept the other cracked a bit.
From what little he could see, the weird twelfth division guy had spiky black hair and what looked like horns, and the kid was a short redhead. He couldn't quite see the girl yet. Bunch of weirdos.

Jinta snorted. He’d never met Adaro, but if she was anything like the bad guys in cartoons and comic books, then her behavior was so stereotypical it wasn’t even funny. And, despite the gruff way the guy spoke, Jinta felt no qualms about throwing in his two cents, and then some
