I never really understood the whole Twilight hype and did not like the movie. I started to read the book but found it a bit too juvenile and figured it was not for my age group (okay, fine, I am trying to be nice--the books are terribly written). But then I saw New Moon and it changed my mind a bit. I thought it was much better than the first movie, and the storylines finally had me interested. I am on Team Jacob, clearly. As much as I love vampires, I do not get the obsession with Edward! Jacob is sweet, humble and caring, and he tells Bella he will wait forever for her and that he does not want her to change. He is a bit one-dimensional and could be delveloped more, but I think he has the most potential as a character. Also, Lautner is the only one who did a good acting job. I will throw in a Bella icon or two, as much as it pains me, for good measure. :P
