18 True Blood

There are only a handful of TV shows I have completely fallen in love with; it takes a lot for me to be enchanted by a show enough to watch it religiously. However, True Blood has reached this status. It took one episode. I hate Sunday nights, but I always look forward to another episode of True Blood so it makes them more tolerable. The acting is phenomenal, the characters are unique and interesting, the storylines and themes are completely captivating. Alan Ball has done it again: I am hooked. Ball has somehow taken these obscure theme of vampires penetrating human society, living amongst us and facing adversity, and yet makes so many important statements about present-day, real life society. I have played around with the colouring a lot in these. I wanted to do some Sookie/Eric icons, but the storyline is so new that there are no images yet. Bah. I do love Sookie/Bill, but I would be lying if I said I was not interested in seeing the Sookie/Eric storyline play out. Eric is... yum. I am such a sucker for bad boys with hidden hearts.
