Oooh.

I'd say he's towards redeemable, not because I woobify him and want to make excused for his action. I mean, he's put the kingdom in danger with incest, tried to kill Bran to cover it up...but because he's shown clear char progression, acknowledgment, and regret for his actions. He openly is horrified at himself--he wanted to be a hero but he realizes "he had become the Smiling Knight", the kind of monster he wanted to help vanquish.

Unlike Cersei whose answer is "Whatever means necessary is correct", Jaime is really starting to think about what would be honorable, what would be best. He wants to be good, essentially. Even his most notorious act was actually well-intended. Although he's used his shitty reputation as justification to genuinely become a shitty person.) He's still in the cycle between good and evil acts, but he keeps thinking more and more about who he wants to be, regretting evil actions, etc. So I'd say his progress is there.

I'm not sure he can ever be fully forgiven for Bran, granted, or at least, it's a huge stain that will always mar his life, and it should. Nobody should ever forget, Jaime least of all. But I like to think that redemption is possible where the sincerity is there, and the desire to do good in the world, and it is in his case.

Edit: Your question is...tell me about one ASOIAF ship that you would like to say "Dracarys" and burn to oblivion.

Good quote there, and I think Jaime is challenging as a POV in a fascinating way.

Agreed on Jon/Dany. I like both of them as chars on the whole, and I do like with Dany that she's shown to screw up and be wrong. But both of them have some "chosen one" Mary Sue tendencies (bastard rises to become the youngest Commander of the Night's Watch, the Mother of Dragons, etc.) and the two of them together feels like it would just amplify that 1000x.

People who romanticize Drogo worry me a bit. He clearly raped Dany repeatedly, FFS, even while she was crying as he did it. He openly advocates rape and slaughter. As for Daario...ugh.
