Mockumentary
Ever wondered what it would be like to tour with the Weird Sisters? Does Lord Voldemort demand one hundred caramel-flavoured Bertie Botts beans before he goes on a killing rampage? Want to go behind the scenes to see how Dolores Umbridge runs her office? Ever felt like documenting the rise and fall of the Malfoy family after Lucius goes to Azkaban? Movies like "This is Spinal Tap", "Best In Show", "American Movie", "BoyTown" and "Drop Dead Gorgeous", and TV series such as "Frontline", "Arrested Development" and "The Office" will be your inspiration as you set about satirically (and hyper-realistically) documenting the people and events in the Harry Potter world. You can be as outlandish or subtle as you like, so long as it's in the style of the mockumentary.
This challenge will be open to all friends and members of the community; even if you missed out during our last intake, we invite you to submit your fics, art, icons and meta, and everything (so long as it fits the rules of our comm) will be put up. Not only will this mean we can show off your stuff, but it's a great way for me to see more of your work when I consider new members. The challenge will open on February 1, and will run until February 28 at midnight my time. Fics and art can be any rating, any pairing, any genre, so long as it's in the mockumentary style.
And, of course, you're all still welcome to post non-challenge fics/art/icons/meta during the course of the month.
