Nagini as horcrux - GAH!!! don't like it. still don't like it. horcruxes should be non-living things. but voldemort is so smug, he can make a horcrux of his pet snake.

off to hogsmeade - yes, this non-plan is still better than the other planned adventures of the ministry and gringotts. i think this one's better because in hogsmeade you could expect they'd find sympathetic people. i'm suddenly reminded of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when they arrive in the king's village, and everyone shuts the door in our heroes' faces - they found someone willing to help them (benny hill! they found benny hill!)
