i'm back
ok, so i'm back from tn. and i know that you all missed me so much. :) someone asked me to update, so i will. we left fri night, and were in the van all night, oh, btw, sleeping in a van, not a good idea at all, very uncomfortable. when we got out in the morning, we went to ruby falls in chatanooga. i do not reccomend ever going there, it's very small, and like a 2 mile walk to get to this tiny little waterfall that's not all that interesting. then we got back into the van and drove three more hours to gatlinburg, after sitting in traffic for about an hour and a half, we finally found our hotel. we were told the room wasnt ready yet and to come back in about an hour. when we came back, the woman would not let us have our room b/c we had 6 people instead of four, so the only way we could stay would be to pay an extra $50/night, we left. finally, after about 2 hours, we found a cabin rental place that had a cabin available, so we rented it for the week. then the lady told us that if we wanted to get 2 free tickets to dollywood, we could go to this little 90 min presentation, but it shouldn;t even be that long since it was already 4:00 and the people would be ready to leave. 2.5 hrs later, we finally recieved our tickets from the people who tortured us while all we wanted to do was get cleaned up and relax. then we had to find our cabin. they had no street signs, and the directions that these people gave us were to durn down a road bt a gate next to this logging sign, and then to follow the paved road all the way to the top. right.... we understood that, so we found the road and started going up thew mountain, but the problem was that it tended to branch off in different directions. after going up the mountain twice, and still not finding our cabin, we called the people an they sent somebody out to show us. turns out that we were only 2 cabins away from where we were supposed to be. but we had a wonderful view, and we were the top of the mountain, so it was pretty cool.
the next morning, we got up and hiked up a mountain in the state park, and we hiked all the way up to this waterfall, it was beautiful. then we went backto gatlinburg and rode a skylift up the side of a mountain, and we got to stay there for a while. when we came back down, we decided to look around at some of the shops, then we went back to the cabin.
on monday, we went to dollywood, it was fun, but i was getting so aggravated w/ my mom, who didn't want to ride rides, all she wanted to do was shop some more. me n laura met some guys while we were standing in line for one of the rides and they sat behind us on the ride, so we were talking to them at the beginning of the ride, and then all of a sudden, we turned around, and the roller coaster dropped, it was funny to see our faces. then while we were waiting to get onto another ride, some guy yelled off a ride at me, and my while family started laughing at me. then we went home. on tuesday, we went to this place up in the mountains that had alot of birds, it was cool, but i got sorta tired of looking at birds after 2 hrs, then we did some more shopping. on wed, we got up and went to breakfast, then to play hillbilly putt-putt, then the boyds bear museum for my mom and aunt lilly, i about died b/c we were there almost the entire day. next we went to a dinosaur museum and the ripley's believe it or not museum. on the way back to our cabin that night, we happened to stop in a small outlet mall, and i found a bookstore. i walked in hoping to find the 6th harry potter, and to my surprise, the man had it for 17.99, it was originally 29.99, so i bought it and then started reading it, it was about 6 0r seven at night by that time. the guy also gave me a free betty boop book mark, and then he was surprised that i knew who she was. after we went back to the cabin, i was still reading, and by 12 that night,laura was yelling at me b/c all i wanted to do was read, so during commercials, she would some and sit on me and try to mess me up. eventually, we she figured out that wasn't going to work, the little witch kissed me on the cheek, after i was done bitchihng about that, i went back to my book, and she sat there and pouted again. the next day, we went to another outlet mall, and then my parents went to some tropical thing, and me laura and my aunt lilly stayed at the mall. after about an hour of shopping, we called my parents and they told us we'd have to wait, so we sat there for the next 2 hours. the my mom deicided that she wanted to go shopping again, so we went back to gatlinburg, and we did some more shopping. then, on friday, we played putt-putt again and then we relaxed most of that day, and that night we went to this fiddler's feast thing. i really wasn't in the mood to go, but i did, and i was kinda glad that i did. the first act that went on were these two brothers, they were looking at me n laura, and after we got our food, they were serving us drinks and one of them came up to us and asked us if we'd like tp dance later, we agreed to. so when the main act came on, one of the brothers came up to me, pulled me onstage, we started dancing, and then when we got off, he told me that i did good, and he asked where i was from, but then ha had to go. about 10 songs later, laura thought she was safe and that she wouldn't have to go, then suddenly one of them came and tapped on the shoulder and said that it was her turn now, she about died. it was funny though, b/c i knew what she was going through. while the last song was going on, i got another tap on my shoulder, and he wanted me to go back up on stage, i said ok, and then he pulled me back up on stage, this time, i danced a little bit better, and he even started singing to me, it was great. but then the song ended and we had to leave, they told usi good bye when we left, and laura wanted to go back. i just thought that it was fun while it lasted.
but now that i've told you all about the boring stuff, i just wanted to say that i reall missed all of you, and i am soooo happy to be back.call me sometime this week, b/c i'm free all the way till thursday, i wanna get to see all of you. later
