Buwahaha.... Gods I love this anime; it's priceless. There was an episode where they paid tribute to Ergo Proxy, where they tossed in Yusa Kouji/Hyoubu Kyousuke just for the kick. In episode 46 where they paid a tribute to Death Note:
Yasumoto mentioned it Natsu no Arashi Radio, said it was Saikou. He recently casted as Elfman from Fairy Tail, the main character is named after the season: Natsu (Summer), where Yasumoto as Murata Hideo in Natsu no Arashi Akinai-chuu Season 2, in recent 3 where Murata tries to save Yayoi from a Dog who's attracted to good looking girls, owned by Takeshi Yamashiro (voice by Sugita Tomokazi, known for being in Togainu no Chi linked with a particular Dog Seiyuu = Toriumi Kousuke).
Yasumoto is known for being obsessed with Dogs also connected with Toriumi Kousuke (these two are also friends, where in BL Drama Yasumoto is pretty close to Yusa Kouji, but Toriumi and Yusa are still childhood friends that makes them even closer), as Murata the dog threw him into the air when tried to protect Yayoi.
