Not 100% Authentic Manga
I guess I bought it was mainly for how the translation went...
The first nine volumes had Minekura's random commentary, when they started doing Saiyuki Reload, the commentary are no longer there. By the time it reached Saiyuki Vol. 4 there was a Parental Advisory on it and the rest of the volumes it was not there. The inconsistency is amazingly staggering... In one of the Reload volumes the honourifics turned out horribly wrong. If you go around nitpicking at all the inconsistency in the English translations, there is quite a lot; might as well pick up the Japanese version or even the Chinese versions.
