I'd like to make a statement on the issue of gay marriage. Like

Well Michael, if you were in love with a man who was catholic and believed in the sanctity of marriage (because there are Gay Catholics out there) and says he will not have sex until marriage, or perhaps you two want to adopt a child, but you can't cus you need to be MARRIED.. then maybe you might fight a little more for this whole 'marriage' issue.. It means nothing to you because you CAN to do, you can sign up right now if you wanted to! but for them, they can't and that sucks.. (until now) I mean there are about a million and one reasons why people get married, sometimes it's because they actually love each other.. so if no one stops to questions WHY people are getting married, why should we question WHO is getting married..? WHO CARES IF IT’S 2 MEN or 2 WOMEN? It’s like we know that being Gay is sin, so we feel that sinners cannot enter into marriage because that is considered holy? It’s like watching a prostitute enter a cathedral.. it’s fine to see her outside, but don’t go near MY place of holiness! Bull shit.
What fails to be said here is that we are focusing on Gay marriage alot because it's a form of discrimination that is occurring in our society.. Yes there are alot of issues out there that still need to be addressed, but it's bullshit that this is happening in our country right now.
