iTunes/Windows(is spelled)S-A-T-A-N

Since the dawning of time, since I was forced to use iTunes for my iPod, (which is currently unable to get new music put on it seeing as I lost the usb wire that connects my ipod to the computer), I've had problems with iTunes. Don't get me wrong, I love the setup of iTunes, I love it so much more than Windows Media Player for just listening to music on my computer...but lately the problems with it have been getting worse. I update it and download the newest version everytime it tells me to, but I still have problems. Basically sometimes the music will skip and then it will tell me that iTunes has some kind of error and must close. It tells me that I can send an error report to windows. And I have done this, probably 20+ times. But this sometimes happens several times a day....that is unacceptable. I love apple for what they've done, putting together awsome computers and software and mp3 players.....I'd totally say "fuck windows" if it weren't for me being a digital geneous on a PC but a special ed student on a Mac. My awsome american upbringing has taught me to be too lazy to make an effort to learn a whole new operating system. Anyways, I think A) Apple needs to do something to fix this or B) Apple has done everything they've been able to, to make iTunes available on Windows and it's Microsoft's fault. I'm leaning toward the second of the 2 options here, that Microsoft is the work of the devil. I think it's the shittiness of Microsoft Windows that makes it nearly impossible for any company to make software to successfully work with Windows. Microsoft should know(since they really do have a monopoly on the market) that their software is a load of shit. Anyone that's had this problem know what to do to make it better?
