To get involved in the exchange
Hey, I remember this place! I haven't posted properly in quite sometime, even with 20 or so half-written posts on my desktop I still can't find the time or the concentration to get anything done and posted on here. The last three weeks have been majority bad with a ridiculous amount of school work, a viral infection that is still lingering and made me want to die or sleep most of the last 15 days, and my cousin being diagnosed with Lupus on February 17th. However, things are looking UP; I called my sister last Friday to congratulate her on her new puppy, and she congratulated me right back because I am going to be an aunt/godmother again in November! \o/
Sweet Charity is about to have another auction (Yes, there was just one in January, but that was special circumstances, this is the regular bi-annual auction) and sign-ups began this morning. The auction is once again raising for RAINN, and halcyon_shift has shortened both the sign-up time and the auction period... it remains to be seen if this auction will be small or not. :P

Speaking of halcyon_shift, you know what I love? Being her vid-beta! Not only is she scary good, but she is ALWAYS VIDDING! And prolific vidders make vid-betas very happy, because we get to beta all the time.
What works is the fact that she doesn't get upset and defensive when I tell her something isn't working, and I don't get upset or defensive if she says that it stays because it works for her. Picture two kids in the back seat of a car, Child 1: YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!, Child 2: NO, I'M NOT!!! But at the end of it Child 2 produces something like this:

Also, we noticed that there were no vid communities for this fandom yet, so ... scc_vids was created. :P
