so, i've been thinking (which is always bad)
so on my way home from work today i just saw the new statue of samantha the witch on washington street... it's kinda pathetically small and unimpressive.. i imagined something more gradiose but ahwell...
but on to my point
at first i thought the whole idea was silly (and i still do just a bit), but considering the predominant religion in america it could have turned out to be something far more insidious;) imagine if they put up a statue of a christian tv-sitcom character, for instance a ten foot bronze statue of sally field as the flying nun...
now, that would be some kind of ridiculous
