gangster rap, a new Slugs song, etc.

Watchin' a VH-1 special on Snoop Dog, listening to traditional jazz, drinking a corporate soda....

Does anyone have a polaroid? I have some ferocious hat-hair too, if thats incentive. Tired as Hell, had a big-assed lunch at 3:00 in the afternoon, thats naptime. OK:

Black Metal vs. Gangster Rap. Who wins?

Just a thought. Handed in my soc. paper again today....better not ever have to see that thing again unless its got a big fat 'A' on top of it. Speaking of which, I got an A on my Arabic paper. Yahoo.

Another test in that class tomorrow....blegh.

If you're angry about the tribulations of society on athletes like Ron Artest, please press 1. If your upset about the downset of the American economy, please press 2. If you want to run for president of Ukraine, please stay on the line. To disconnect, please press *. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. If you play saxophone and want to deathmatch John Coltrane in a battle rap, please get a time machine and go back 40 years in time/space. Yeeeeeeah.

The last Slugs song for the MTN/Slugs split:

'Author of the Severed Thumb'
by Tim Conley for
xPaintxThinnerx

Let your slow waning tunes subside for now,
Dear,
Pentagon connected by a strand of pipes going for miles up and down....

I've written this book;
M-80 blast and you're one too short for me,
Hold it up and let me laugh your discomfort onto its side....

I've written this book;
Just a dialogue of you and your friends on that summer afternoon,
Were you thinking of me, Remora?

No,
No remorse for now;
I am the author of the severed thumb,
Although I can still tickle away at ivory keys like a bandit,
one too short,
even for myself I see now....

Am I making too big of a deal over the MTN/Slugs conjunction? I just don't know what to do for the MTN songs. But the Slugs I've got the whole concept and riffage down and everything. OK, that's all.
