good haul today!
Today was my day to go down to Manasquan and pick up a TF I won from the guy who organizes the local toys shows. Took a nice nap before hand so I won't be dead tired tonight. Got down there and managed to find the store pretty easily. Had nice little chat with the guy, picked up Sky Garry, and also snagged a Broadblast. BTAs are now complete, and with the 4th apparently cancelled that may be the end of them. Just as well though, they're expensive. Stopped as TRU on the way home and to my great shock found some of the Star Wars titanium figures I've been after. Grabbed a republic cruiser, TIE advanced, and the Death Star. They had a Galvatron there too, but the plastic was just was too orange instead of red. I'm kind of glad in a way since I didn't want to spend $40 on it and I don't have any room for him. Of course I doubt I'll see another one if I change my mind down the road, but whatever. And then I finally got home to find my package from the Hasbro online store had arrived, so I got Dark Crumplezone! Good stuff today. :)
Tonight I'm going in late. I'm supposed to be off but they need extra help since everyone's been calling out lately, and I'm really short on hours this week. So I'll have some time with Sam, get to listen to my radio show (for once!), and then get some hours at work. I should get to bed soon, since I'm supposed to get in like 4 hours... so much for my nap balancing out the staying up. Heh.
