just GREAT. after all that how am i gonna get my books for school. they are fucking $90 and $68. gross. like I have THAT kind of money for friggin BOOKS I only need for 3 months. Why the hell do you have to be RICH to go to SCHOOL???? Isn't that what you need to go to school for anyway? So you can get a job to make you rich???? hypothetically ( Read more... )

I don't know if you looked at sites like these but you might want to try something like campusbooks.com or bookbyts.com
I've never tried them, but there seems to be lots of sites that sell used college text books which are always cheaper. You don't get as much back when you try to resell them, but you don't get much back anyway...

thanks!! Something cool I found out in class is that the first edition is the same as the new one but with different pictures...and way way cheaper

Simply point your browser in the direction of these two sites: www.abebooks.com (which has cheap prices but rather high shipping fees) or www.half.com (which has low shipping fees but steeper prices). Cheap college students love these sites. Either of these two sites is cheaper than buying them on campus or at a bookstore, and both are easily accessible. NEVER BUY A $90 BOOK! Clearly someone's taking a huge cut. I've bought $90 books for $10, because, yeah, that's how much they're worth.

Now stop being such a Negative Nelly.

lol, thanks for the sites... im definetly not buying a $90 book pfffffffffffffft.
On ebay there is one for $2.25 right now...Ill bid on that one and stuff.

Most campuses have used bookstores. Students use the books for 3 months then sell them. Buy them used if you van find a place.
