THE SYSTEM DOWN

As you all know, who live in Marin County, a large storm went through here on December 31st. Here in San Anselmo, the town Flood alarm went off three times, starting at 3am. And at that time, my house lost internet connection. Later that day, I succesfully reset my dsl modem, so one computer could be online, directly. Yet the Router still didn't work. I got off the phone with the vender of my Router, Dell, whom after much trial and error told me that my router is broken. And since it is no longer under warrenty, they are not obligated to replace it. All they said was "sorry, have a happy new year" and now my house has only one computer that has net access.
The lesson here is: DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM DELL. THEY ARE LYING CHEATS, WHOM IF YOU HAVE ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES IN ONE ROOM, YOU MIGHT HAVE ENOUGH INTELLIGENCE TO TIE YOUR SHOE. FUCK YOU DELL. ALSO, WHEN MY FAMILY FIRST BOUGHT FROM DELL, THEY PUT US ON A LEASE WITHOUT TELLING US. WHERE WE TOLD THEM THAT OUR INTENTIONS WERE TO BUY OUR UNITS, NOT LEASE THEM. ONE YEAR LATER, THAT GOT RESOLVED. WE ENDED UP PAYING LESS THAN OUR ORIGINAL QUOTE, AND THE AGENT THAT MADE OUR DEAL SAID THAT WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES THAT DELL HAD PUT ON A LEASE.
So, I will not be online very much for the next few days, as I need to research other routers. Hopefully, I'll find one that doesn't just stop working after 1 1/2 years.

Korey

P.S.
Down town San Anselmo had four feet of water running down the street. All the shops were flooded. Thus, Down Town San Anselmo is closed.
