It's a long shot, but what size shoe do you wear? I have quite a few pairs of sneakers that I was going to get rid of in the near future. I could probably steal you some 3-ring binders from work, too. :)
Free shoes? Score! I have pretty big feet, though -- a UK size 6 (The Abby and I couldn't work out what size they were in US sizes) and you're about half my size even though we're the same height, so I presume you'll have little feet.
No binders need to be stolen. I found a pound coin on the kitchen floor, which is enough for one. If I find a couple more pounds, I'll be set!:P
According to this handy shoe size converter, a UK woman's 6 is a US woman's 8.5, which is usually what I wear. I think we are about the same size, so that makes sense.
So seriously, if you want some shoes I can dig through my closet and see what I can do.
Really? That'd be ace, and I can pay you for postage. (I don't have much experience sending stuff to the USA, but shouldn't think it'd amount to more than $5, and that's a lot less money than buying a new pair.
Don't give me anything you can still get use out of, though; I'm not really a fashion freak. My current trainers (the semi-soleless ones) were purchased for £2 in 1997.
Don't worry about postage, it's on me. And I've never been very fashionable, so you don't need to worry about that. :P I think I have some red Pumas that are in good condition but I never wear, as well as some Converse-type ones (warning: turquoise) with the same story. I also have light blue Kangaroos that I bought for some reason and then realized I don't like the color. Maybe some worn-out Converse too. Oh, and fake Adidas. Okay, so I have a lot of shoes.. I'll go through and find a pair or two that are in good condition and not too hideous. Just mail me your address. :)
