It really has. Me and livejournal have not talked in many a time. What's up with that? I guess I get into these phases where I feel like there isn't anything important to put in here, even though I recently took a trip to NY and saw 5 shows, Pippin's been over for a long time, I was cast in Opening Number, and Cinderella opens next week. But anyways...
Life is good I guess. Nothing to complain about. I kind have a random lapse of time right now to do with what I please before I go to pick Janay up and go see MacBeth at Silverado. I love seeing the poster up at my school and saying to people "my girlfriend plays a guy in that." No one will ever know how amusing that is for me.
I guess I don't really have anything to say for real, I just felt it had been too long since my last entry.
I am officially obsessed with Songs for a New World. It's been in my car for over a month and I haven't listened to anything but it, and I still love it and notice new things every time I listen to it that I hadn't noticed before.
Life goal: Be in Songs for a New World one day.
I have many life goals. I also want to be Toby in Sweeney Todd. Although, due to recent events, I don't think I can sing high enough to be in either show.
Opening Number was a lot of fun. I got a standing ovation for my solo! That was cool. I got an excellent at State for my solo and pantomime. Everyone kept saying how they couldn't understand that since I had a mere perfect score at regionals on my solo, but I just always think back to last year at state:
I was sitting there, hoping that I got at least an excellent on my monologues. I come to find that I did not, and I sat there watching the people happily go up on stage and accept their awards. This year, I got to up twice to recieve an award. That was just amazing for me, so, needless to say, I am not upset.
The reason I got an excellent was cause I sang it to Tara. The judges said it was unprofessional. Well, I sang it for Tara, so I wasn't bothered at all.
I'm going to Nebraska!!! I'm so excited. Burrows can't take us, and we almost couldn't go. But the students and their parents (mine included) fought back and won and are now going as Coronado High School.
Well, I think that that is everything. If it's not, oh well. No one reads this journal anyways.
