tomorrow is mary poppins; it's going to be super cute, so i'm excited. and tonight i accompanied a girl at nyssma for the first time and it went really well, and she's going to continue lessons with me :]
more good news: i passed my five hour test for driver's ed. one kid in the entire class failed, so i was nervous the kid was me, but yay it wasn't and now i can schedule my road test, sickkkkk.
i had my college meeting yesterday with my guidance counselor. my mom was really encouraged and happy at the end, but after the hour and a half it took, i was sorta bummed out. only because everything pal said that the guidance counselor would say, he did say. and i felt torn again about taking the science class next year. but i really don't think i'm going to, because i want to benefit myself in the long run and get the higer GPA by not taking it. i'm going to call the admissions offices at a bunch of the schools i want to go to, and see if their requirements are different from the school as a whole, since it's the music departments; after thinking about that i didn't feel bummed out anymore. i'm not an academic student, i'm a music student. i feel better about it now.
i'm really happy that the weather's getting warmer. it makes me feel happier.
