maybe its luck
o man, oooo man. i love brand new and dashboard confessionals. this news is a day late because i was wipped out last night and the first thing i did d=today was take a shower, i still smell like beer. i know, i know, ill get to it. it all began...
so we get to the roseland ballroom at around 2 or so. and we're like the 20th people in line. so we stay there, for the next almost 5 hours waiting eagerly. i gave too much money to homeless people. im a sucker. well anyways. so we finally get inside and we run to the front. and sadly we are the second row of people and not on the rail. but eh, what can you do. so we stand there. and it was so cramped it was a sold out show and it was 3,000 people standing room. sick. so brand new plays first and damn they are sooo good. i dont even know how listening to cds will ever supress my hunger and love for them. because their just so awesome. that simple. and during their set the people behind us had beers and julia, shanna and i got drenched in it. then mxpx comes out and they start out with like aazer show thingy playing the who- teenage wasteland and it was just, whoa. and they play and they are really chill. i havent really heard much of their stuff but this made me want to invest in it. and they finished.
and then oh man. after minutes that seemed like hours, these lights all go on saying D/C and their playing some acdc song and its just like pumping us up. and then chris comes out and hes got his hair in his new little do- mohawked and a little part bleached, so cute! and he start playing and i die. and he even played this bitter pill and im such an emo kid i dont think i can deny it cause my eyes were just whelled up with tears and i admit a tear rolled down when he sang this bitter pill. :') he took so many stanzes that were just like "im god, praise me" and oh he was praised. and he knows he owned that entire room. every kid knew every word to every song he sang and he said "waters good isnt it" and everyone screamed. it was nuts. it as out of control. and sam im so sorry i was going to call you but my friend duct taped her cell phone to her ankle, lol. and i didnt bring one.and the lights and everything was just so great. and then he got off stage and no one left and we all chanted for more and he came down and ran by the railing with his hand out and oh yeah, we touched. and then he got back on stage and played hands down and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking GOOD. and then he left and it was sad.
and then we got on our train and we rode it with these boys, zach, brian, and matt. and they were cool kids. i was so sleepy. and then i slept over at julias and just fell asleep.
good times, good good times. well i have to get ready for work. and i have school on monday :( im so unhappy about that. oh well. i cant stop it. and im a jr. so thats awesome. upper classman, nice. only one year left of hell. and then sweet college. heay sigh. later
