Yeah, I was working on an entry about all the wackiness since my last post, but then I found this http://www.tetsujin28.jp/ and watched the trailer, and decided that I would type this with the strength I have left before I go into a awesomeness-induced coma, have them revive me when it hits

Hey, did you get the letter from the UNA art dept., are you going to enter anything in their show?

I think I did get something from them but I didn't get a chance to look at it, last time I was home mom said something about a letter and I forgot about it before leaving, it was about a show?

Yeah, an alumni show... they're asking people to send in work, even ship it (which I would be a little afraid to do, really)... I'd like to send something, but framing/packing/shipping costs would be a little much for what it is. So oh well. You should check it out though.

It turns out my letter is now part of the great garbage pile in the.....well, where-ever they take trash back home, my parents did apparently chunk it. Still, I need to get on ball and do some paintings for local galleries here anyway, it turns out I know somebody in the know/with-connections here, so either way I am going to be slinging paint. How did the 60's show go by the way?

Ha... well, it's interesting. Going back tonight for the 2nd judging. I think I've figured out how the judging works. Big=good. No kidding, the biggest thing there won best in show. All in all there was some cool stuff... one guy make wooden standups of the yellow submarine characters for the front window, and in the downstairs gallery they had blacklight posters, beanbags, lava lamps, and incense.

Wow, that does sounds like a pretty cool show, as far as the big works go I have noticed a trend toward that too, but then again I tend to work large scale too so I guess I can't say much. How's the classes coming along?
