Cat Burglars, Zombies gone Wild!, Gunslinger action and reactions

Oh yeah, that was like last March or so, it seems like I end up asking people the same questions or wondering about the same things every 5 months or so, I must have an extra goto-10 line in my programming. Yeah, I will give King and his army of lamp-monsters another go I guess, but only if I see them at the thrift store (which is pretty much a guarantee now that i think about it).

Hey JM, Did you notice on the back of the cover of The Gunslinger that the pictures of King look hauntingly like someone we know.

And on a different but same subject all together, did you read any of the Bourne novels. If you have, have you read the ultimatum and legacy. I read the Bourne Identity after I saw the movie and read the Ultimatum cause I haven't got a chance to see that movie yet. Or do you now of someone that has read these cause I was wondering if they are worth the read. I like the first one, second was alright, but I'm kinda leary on the other ones.

My copy is an old one with just the front illustration cropped for the extra text on a black background so I haven't gotten to see the King pic, does he look like Ken? For some reason, I think it is just the way he carries himself and his mannerisms in pics, he has always reminded me of Ken, that and always hearing how the Gunslinger stuff was King's best work and how the WOT books should have ended at 3 from Ken on numerous occasions probably doesn't help.

You know, I haven't even seen the movies yet, Chris's boss who is a gun nut and has pretty decent taste in movies says they are great, I dunno, I think with the way the movies were promoted like every other "must see summer blockbuster!!!" they got lost in the shuffle, which sucks if they are cool. I'll ask Chris to see if his boss has read any of the series and what his take is on them.

Not only is it a scripting joke, it was also used on Futurama episode 3:8 - That's Lobstertainment!, I think that multiplies my nerd quotient by about 30, King Nerd status achieved!
