This weekend has been a fun one, and by weekend I mean from Thursday to now. The Thursday night ASCAP show was great, I can't recall anything bad about the evening other than my camera's memory card running out of space ( still got around 300 pics and a bunch of movies though). No, I agree with you, those kids aren't hippies and in my opinion are pretty much less than worthless along with their culture. If I had a dollar for every time one of those burn-outs tried to tell me and whoever else is around them at the time how to live life and "what mother nature says" I would be set for life. The thing I do concede to the originals is that they were willing to try something new socially at the time (in the beginning at least), whether or not it was a result of strong convictions or being fried out of their mind is up to debate, I tend to think it the latter but since I wasn't around at the time I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I am not saying that I agree with them, in fact I share none of their beliefs, I just give them credit for the effort.

Going to college in T-town aye? My condolences, I have heard that the art department their is disjointed/fractured/uneven and that it has a high turn-over rate in regards to the teaching staff, I had thought about getting my masters there but didn't know if the rumors were true. Even if it is, I bet the school has a decent press and drying racks, I got to look around the department there after-hours but never got to see the printmaking facilities, when I was in college I pretty much took advantage of all of the equipment available for my own projects, the fact that it just made me look industrious at times and the fact I could pass it all off as work for assignments made it feel like I was grifting them for all they were worth. As for the town itself, well.... it was just tolerable when the Chukker and Vinyl Solution was still alive, but now I can only imagine how downhill things have gone, if the Jupiter/"Skankiter" is actually considered a viable venue for bands now it has to of hit rock bottom.

well, t-town does suck. printmaking facilities @ ua are alright.
