How easy it is to slip back into old routines, for me this would be my infamous "hermit" mode. I haven't left the house in since returning from the birthday party, just been hanging around the house working on organizing my possessions and sketching and other creative endeavors. I had thought about waiting until my dad was gone for 4 hours or so ( Read more... )

Yeah, I never got around to asking dad if he wanted the sweetest lawn-care ride in the neighborhood but for some reason my sister thinks he might not be all for it, which is obvious insanity. I'll ask him now that I am back in town.

I usually shoot pics whenever I go to shows or need reference for paintings and the like, which more often than not are purposes that overlap. I am planning to get a nice photoprinter sometime soon so I am sure I will be doing a lot more photo-work in the future, especially if some plans I have laid groundwork for come to fruition. What kind of subjects do you usually shoot/enjoy? Film or digital?

Alice is a pretty hard game, nigh impossible if they took away quick-saving, the Jabberwocky alone is beyond frustrating. I read on American Mcgee's blog that the Alice movie is dead in the water thanks to typical Hollywood ridiculousness and the Oz movie will most likely come out first, which I am hoping they cast Faruza Balk in the role of Dorothy since she played her in Return to Oz, if Alice is any indication of the direction that is going to be taken with Dorothy she would be perfect all around.

Oh come now...why wouldn't you're dad love a pimped out lawn mower?? I mean I know I would!

I can shoot anything and be happy. I just love taking pictures. I do both digital and film but mostly film. The digital comes in at the humane society. I take pictures of the animals for the website and digital is easier and cheaper in that situation. I'm actually looking into getting an enlarger and such and building a darkroom.

*gasps* No Alice movie? At least not for awhile. Well damn that sucks. I was looking forward to it too. Oh well. Hmm....I hadn't heard about the Oz movie. Ah but I'm curious now.
