I had a nice weekend

So I had a nice weekend and I'm already starting to forget what happened so I figure I will do a sweet LJ post.
Thursday night Vinny and I had a nice evening at home watching Bolt. It was nice....
Then Friday we slept in and then made blueberry pancakes. Later we packed a picnic and went to central park. It was a lovely day. My feet hurt really bad and I got a million blisters and open wounds though. I tried to buy flip flops at the gap but they were all leather and then H and M only had men's ones. It was not cool. So I limped over to MOMA, but there was a huge line (free friday nights) and was super packed by the time we got in so we bailed for my feets' sake. We got home and I changed up my clothes and shoes- looking nice is the pits anyways. Then we went to Union square to go see "Away we go" which was a nice movie as well. A little sweet for my taste, but I still liked it. It made me want to be pregnant. Ate popcorn for dinner :)
Saturday was the 4th of July. Happy birthday America! We packed another picnic and went to Battery park to see a free Conor Oberst/ Jenny Lewis concert. It took us a while to get there but then it was super fun. We sat in the park and ate snacks and then kinda danced and watched the bands. The concert was long though and took up most of our day. Around 6 we gave up and went home for dinner. We ate vegetarian hot dogs... nice. At fireworks time, Vinny convinced me to sneak up on the roof with him. It was scary but we got a cool view of the 6 sets of fireworks going off above the buildings in Manhattan. If the fireworks weren't high enough it looked like there was a war going on. It was cool. Then Vinny made patriotic desserts and we watched Dexter til 2 in the morning.
Sunday we went to the beach! We drove to Coney Island, which is much easier than taking the train. We lounged in the sand and swam in the sea. No jelly fish or anything! We flew kites and got sunburns. Then we shelled out 5 bucks a pop to go on the Spook-a-rama... not as spooky as it sounds. But still awesome!!!! Kinda like being at the Halloween Outlet. We ate some funnel cakes which do not hold up to fried dough and then went home. Vinny made the best ever Veggie Burgers and we watched Dexter all night again!
I think that's it....
