Those of you out there reading this stuff tonight who like awesome jazz music played by incredibly sexy young men and one old catholic guy ought to listen very carefully to the following anouncement. There will be a set of three people of the aforementioned qualities performing not one, not three, not 32.33 repeating, but two times this week. Yes, two is the best number in the world, only outdone by 22 but we thought that that many would be a little exhausting so we settled on the very nice second (haha, second is like two, i love my life). The first of those performances will be held on wednesday the 29th at Mochalini's right near the Cub on the northeast corner of the 242 (i see two two's in that road name, i wish roads werent so difficult to hug) and 65 intersection. The performance will begin at approxamitely 7 pm central time and end somewhere around 8ish probably. Your attendance would be appreciated but if you cant make it dont worry, because the real show will be the next day at the Acadia Cafe. The show starts at 9 pm central standard time and the acadia cafe website (www.acadiacafe.com) scheduled its conclusion to be at 12:30 am on friday. The show will include "Newly arrived Latin/Acoustic atist, Sam Rocha's Acadia Cafe debut. An all original show with a TALENTED LOCAL OPENING ACT and the energy and charisma of Sam Rocha. Come early to get your seat. The cost will be 5 dollars and 4 of that will support the musicians, Acadia also serves many foods and beverages for you sweet tooths out there. The talented local opening act that they were referring to in the ad is that Manhasset Project that you really want to see. They are made up of the captain of all clives liter of all rums and mr. 32 himself zachary popedog scanlan. His nimble fingers will fly around the keyboard like a puppy chasing his mothers nipply feedy mijigers. He will be playing along side the very sexy, always knows how to do his hair, ken flaming-blister-finger perkewicz. This kid has the facial expressions of a person with mental problems that accentuate his incredible passion for the bass playing he will bring forth. And if you arent all ready drooling enough all over your lap and down your leg and saturating the upper portions of your socks, last but not least is their cellist Jon kid who is writing this entry McDuffie. He has the amazing abilities of playing a C major scale forwards and backwards, and can poke holes in things like there is no tomorrow. They will be playing a total of six hit pieces at the Acadia, for a total of 45 minutes worth of music. The songs will include the crazy rocking "mush for tina", emotional roller coaster of "treeless mouse lemur", peaceful heart-filled ballad "the moon is big", the happy go lucky "smells of latin", and the debut performance of the cool hot sleek and styling jazzy 6/8 "midnight thunder power", and the relaxing and hypnotizing "yellow time". The power of the performance is sure to subdue you to do crazy passionate things with all the starbucks employees that you can find. You dont want to miss this one, Manhasset Project has improved more than any of us imagined since any of our previous performances, we are like a whole new group, i promise. So, I best be seeing you all there, looking sexy and stuff and talking us up to everyone you meet. Invite your parents, sisters, cousins, uncles, and most of all yourself. The place seats 80 and I dont want to waste a chair. Cya dudes later. Cellist
