ok. today has beent the biggest waste of time ever.
so we leave this morning around 11 to go to baton rouge for this huge festival.
around tuscaloosa, the van starts to overheat.
so we stop at a gas station and drain out the brown antifreeze, and replace it with fresh new antifreeze.
the van still is overheating.
and it backfires. and smokes.
we get to meridian mississippi, which is about three hours from here, and sparks start shooting out from the bottom of the van. we decide to turn around, doubting the ability of our van to make it to baton rouge.
and of course, it runs fine the entire way back.
$1100 for a new transmission.
$1300 for the van.
still no way to get to any shows.
and i could have spent the day with you instead.
