in the saddle again.
the tour was...welll....how do you say...
i can't say it was terrible because it wasn't.
but let's just say it was below my expactations.
the first show was pretty fun, being we played with asilaydying.
the show after that....we played for the bands that were there.
the next day? played in a bar that didn't even know it was having a show.
san antonio?
played for about 20 kids which would have been ok if the sound guy didnt stop us in the middle of our set to tell us we were too loud and the guitars were too distorted.
dallas wasn't terrible because there was a pretty good turnout.
i convinced three kids that were outside looking for the bury your dead show to come watch us, and they danced it up for us...
it was really great seeing three kids actually appreciate our music.
touring with naos project was awesome. they are some of the nicest guys i've ever met, even though they weren't hardcore like our booking agent said.
they are extremely talented and put on a good show. sorry for putting them down before i could meet them.
so our booking agent obviously is not too concerned with setting us up with good shows.
we will not drive 400 miles to each show to play in front of three kids that have never heard anything heavier than creed.
despite it all, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
i love treason. i love distant.
we are going to st.louis saturday for a hardcore fest so hopefully it will be better than our past lineup of shows.
NEXT FRIDAY: JANUARY 30th
