I'm having fun, don't put me down.

First off, a big thank you to all who kept my family in their thoughts and prayers during these past few weeks. I wish I could kiss and hug you all! Shall my sweet words suffice 'till next we meet?

Early Thanksgiving morning, I voyaged out onto the rough seas of paint to start on my final project for Painting I. After about three tubes of navy blue and a 3" brush later, I completed my project this morning (Thankfully, my boss let me have today off for agreeing to work on Wednesday or else I would have NEVER finished this on time). The criteria for the final project was just to apply everything you learned in the class. Subject matter was my choice and I thought, "Hey! Why not some Who?"

Taken with my DSi ('Splains the terrible resolution). Initially, I had planned on taking pictures of the work in progress, but my mom's digital camera has run away (Along with $20 worth of paint!).

In the beginning, I just wanted to paint the TARDIS but changed my mind the moment I saw a picture of the tenth and eleventh incarnations of the Doctor (portrayed by David Tennant and Matt Smith, respectively). I knew it would be a challenge because me and realism have never been on first-name basis EVER. Plus, me and paint do not mix (When signing up for fall classes, I was dreading this one the most). But I wanted to see how far I could go with this. If it ended up looking terrible, it would end up looking terrible. At least I could say I try and no one gets shunned for trying.

And I am actually quite please with the end result. Yeah, my anatomy is dodgy (Their necks are scarily thiiiiiin and I smoothed out Tennant's face) and the beam of light is just atrocious, but I do love this a lot. Methinks I will be making room on my wall for this piece.

Based off of this wallpaper. I swear to drunk, the piece looks A LOT better in person.

After getting a good critique and an "A" for the semester, I decided to reward myself with a latte of victory! Iced chai latte, the drink of the GODS. The GODS, guys.

A certain someone kept bugging me and trying to get into every shot. So, I took one of her à la candid.

Abby/Jirou/Baseball in mid-tailwag. It looks like she is blowing raspberries at the DSi. XD

In other news, I am hopelessly addicted to this song and this girl's wardrobe from the music video.

Here's something fun: I'm thinking of rebooting RADIOSANDWICH next year. Nothing promised, but I am definitely considering it!

EDIT: Dang, I forgot to mention what is going on with The Happy 4. I'm probably going to push the last three prompts until next month. After being sick and the passing of my grandmother, I just did NOT have the time to complete them. To everyone who gave me prompts, please be patient!
