THIS FRIDAY NIGHT
Despite the fact that I have been in the hospitol three times since Sunday evening, I am very happy to announce that Monastic will be giving a special performance at this friday's Ruin.
The event welcomes the fall season, which is my personal favorite and honors the demon goddess of the wind, Lilith (also known in Hebrew mythology as the first wife of Adam)
Joining Heather and I will be the beautiful and powerful Rose, who has not performed with us since our debut in Las Vegas over a year ago, Viktor, and Serina(who has performed with both Alaska Highway and The Point of Reflection, but never Monastic)
Since the night honors women, I felt it important to have very different, very strong, very complex women in this performance.
Monastic will also debut a new song "Lilith, the Guardian," which was composed especially for the evening. The performance will also feature other songs, which have accompanied Monastic over this past year. Due to health, the economy, and lots of other forces, this may be one of the few shows for the entire 2009-2009 season.
I never promise anything, but am honored that we have been asked to join Xian as she brings Ruin back to the Monte Cristo.
I look forward to seeing friends and family. Hope to have you share an evening with us and Rose on her BIRTHDAY(at midnight) :-)
