SOOOOoooo have you ever totaled a car going 60mph? Cause thats what I did this morning. Prolly one of the dumbest things I ever did too. I was merging onto 23 south and the guy in front of me on the expressway was breaking. So I figure. Hey I think he wants me to merge infront of him. So I start to pass him. Than the fucker speeds up and cuts me off. There was a guy like 10 feet behind me an I knew if I stopped hed plow right into me. Soooo I started to slow down and pull over onto the shoulder, but lost control of the Intrigue. It wobbled on each side. Crazy shit right? And than I crashed into the ditch and did a complete 360 degree turn in the ditch. So I was facing back towards the traffic. If you have ever had your brain process more thoughts than your body can output... that what happened. I noticed the engine was smoking so I immediatly turned off the engine to prevent a fire. Also I slammed it into park after the engine was off and I think it broke my tansmission. I ran from the car as fast as I could. Thankfully a guy (whom I dreadfully regret not getting his name) stopped as I crashed and ran out towards me. He let me use his phone and I called the police, insurance, and AAA in a matter of minutes. Insurance guys told me to tow my car to Steve Grabke's on Angola. Also I relized I left my wallet (Liscence, Insurance, Registration, Etc.) in my car. Well I ran back to the car and couldnt find it. But I did realise than that my glasses had flown off my face and landed on the floor. I was so pumped with adrenaline I had forgot I even wore glasses. My wallet which was on the passenger seat ended up wedged between my seat and the cup divide. The cop didnt do anything but write me out a court date. The AAA guy was really nice. He let me help him drag out the wench. He couldnt get the car out of the ditch with the truck he had and he said that was the first time it ever happened to him. So he called another bigger truck and we waited. The truck came got my car out and than got it up on a flat bed. The AAA guy took it to Steve Grabke's Autobody and than he gave me a ride home in the diesel flat bed. I just thought it looked funny seeing such a big ass truck in St. James. I called my mom and she came home and helped me with the insurance stuff. What a hella day.

Neither my parents were mad, and I wasnt really afraid to tell them. I am mad though that I wrecked such a nice car. Like I told Steve though. "If I ever get in an accident it will not be my fault and if I do get in an accident its not gonna be with another car."

Damage on the car consisted of 3 flat tires, a bent up hood, extensive body damage on all four quadrants, and frame damage. Also there could be some engine damage too but we havent got our estimate yet.

Insurance is gonna have a fun time with that one.

Also I walked away completely healthy. I am uber lucky. And I was wearing my Church 13 shirt :)
