He felt blind, if a mechanoid could feel blind without having onlined their optical sensors.

All of his senses - olfactory senses sharp enough to detect a hint of split energon in the air or sea; electrical field sensors designed to track a mech in the pitch black of swampy or oceanic depths; even his taste sensors, made to experience mechanical and organic bits in the same sensually delicious manner... All were numbed or gone completely.

Was he sick? A virus, perhaps? That hadn't happened in millennia, not since those pacifistic half-organoids in Sector 1312-omega had tried to pacify him by 'neutering' his drive to feed.

Like it had done them any good in the end.

The memory made him chuckle internally for a moment, before refocusing on more worrying issues. He was recharging on his back. His back, without any warning alarms blaring at him at his vulnerability. His body felt all wrong, too open and bulky in weird places and sharp and- and were those tires he was sensing in his physical readout? Tires?!? His processor swirled - it was like a air-based mech suddenly given wheels instead. Where were his liquid jets? His water-proof armor shell?

He onlined his optics and came face to face with another mech, greenish in color and recharging peacefully.

Well hello there...

Worry later. Hungry now.
