I don't have a sense of hunger. And while eating souls does contribute some strength to my being, they are simply a liiiittle drop in an ocean~

I am the God of Death of my world. The Grim Reaper, Shinigami, a psychopomp, what have you. Lots and lots of people gave me many different names, you know~

What I am doing now is putting these souls to rest, mmm! I don't like leaving troubled souls to wander around, you see~

I can't claim to know much of the details, but many of these troubled souls would return later for whatever reasons and wreak havoc among this world.

With the proper technology, humanity could fight off these assaults, but... removing a troubled soul by force only works in the short term.

I think I would prefer it if they didn't need me. They make foolish choices, but I've found that if I simply wait rather than intervene, they tend to make the proper choices.

I try to keep my meddling to a minimum, but sometimes they do get themselves into predicaments that need a helping hand~
