[What happened to him? Who did this?] [Images of Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, and Nnoitra all standing over a battered Ichigo fill Nel's head.

She kneels down next to him, checking his wounds.]

[He's banged up, but the most noticeable injury is the large gash/concussion to his head. There's a bloody brick nearby, most likely the offender.]

[She notes the brick.] [Did someone throw this at him?]

[Unable to ask him in his current condition, she lays her hands on his forehead and begins to call out to Nala.]

[A hollow's mask briefly appears in the thought bubble, his inner hollow recognizing the reitsu of another.]

[She notes the mask, and whispers to him in an attempt at reassurance.] It's just me, Ichigo. It's Nel.

[She begins channeling Nala through her to heal him.]

[Now, a picture of chibi!Nel appears.]

[She giggles a little.] Close enough.

[Nala's power can heal the injuries well enough, but it won't do much for Reiatsu unless specifically directed (Nel herself uses it to avoid having to eat souls) and Nel doesn't know how to do that for other people. So once the physical damage is dealt with, she pulls back her hands and ponders.] What to do now...

[The bubble returns to blank. All that needs to be done now is to let his batteries recharge, so to speak.]

Guess I should get you home. [She kneels down to gather him up in her arms.] Bed rest'll do you good.
