Part 7:
When the group got downtown, a uniformed police officer came over to them.

“Sirs, there is a man in there who is threatening to blow up the building unless you all go in there,” said the officer.

“What, all of us?” asked Kowalski.

The officer nodded.

“I have a bad feeling about this,” said Vecchio.

“Well we cannot allow this man to blow up the whole building. There are innocent people inside,” said Benton. And with that he walked towards the building and then inside of it. Diefenbaker followed and so did Kowalski and Vecchio. Death stayed outside and watched them go in.
**********
Benton, Vecchio, Kowalski and Diefenbaker entered deeper inside the building carefully. They looked everywhere, but could find no one.

“I thought this place was crowded with people,” said Vecchio.

“So did I,” said Kowalski. He looked at Vecchio and they both pulled out their phones.

Benton kept looking around. Diefenbaker sniffed along every doorway and wall. Suddenly Diefenbaker yelped. Benton and both Rays went over to the wolf. Diefenbaker nosed at a door, which Kowalski opened. They looked in and saw a bomb. They looked at each other and then all three men and one wolf bolted to the door.

The bomb ticked down from 0:05 to 0:04.

The group ran down the stairs.

The bomb ticked down from 0:04 to 0:03.

They tried to go out the front, but it was locked.

The bomb ticked down from 0:03 to 0:02.

“The uniform! I bet he wasn’t a real cop!” yelled Vecchio.

The bomb ticked down from 0:02 to 0:01.

“Really Vecchio! Whatever gave you that idea!” Kowalski yelled back.

“Ray. Ray. We do not have time. Lets try the back door,” said Fraser.

They ran for the back.

The bomb ticked down from 0:01 to 0:00.

The explosion shook the surrounding area.

Death sighed sadly and wandered over to the building.
