Oh my GOD I love this so much. I love how Near notices Mello blushing.It's great how the two of them get to come up with a motive together, and Mello immediately thinks of emotional explanations, while Near draws on logic. And I love Mello's line: "You know," Mello continued grudgingly. "if you stopped correcting everyone and showing off and generally being annoying all the time, you might actually be a decent human being." I love how you write these boys. And L. Mmm yum. There is sexy tension already.

Thanks so much! I really enjoyed writing this one. Mello is so cute, and L totally sees it. :)

And yay for sexy tension! It's so hard for me to keep to just tension right now. Sometimes I'm like, oh screw it. Just have sex already, you know you want to. ;)
