today was a dream

to say that today was a bit strange would be an understatement.
the dream i had before i woke up seemed more realistic than my day.

i left the house after misplacing 15 minutes.
walking to the metro i saw two bycycle cops in hot pursuit of a speeding car.
when i got in to the metro, there was a butterfly fluttering around the platform, and was not at all disturbed by the gust of wind as the metro approached. i thought i should try to save it, and went to catch it, but it evaded my attempts and fluttered off to the other side of the platform. and still not affected by the backdraft as the other metro approached. everything seemed to fall in to place for me as i made all my connections, got to school with minutes to spare, and i ran in to one of my teachers, who i was trying to find for a while, he gave me some fantastic insight to an effect that i was struggling with all summer. i went to class prepared my presentation for tomorrow, and hoped on the shuttle home, while riding the shuttle, i was looking out the window, on the street i saw a man.
he looked like an average man, not well dressed, but certainly not a Dirty hobo.
this man was feeding the pigeons.
Not all that weird, except that 2 pigeons were eating right out of his hand, one was perched on his arm pecking away at the food, the other was right in the palm of his hand.
Bizarre, i thought.
so i head in to the metro, and decide to get out at verdun, as i reach the doors to head outside i notice the legion across the street, bot the Canadian flag and the Quebec flag are flapping in the wind, however they were both flapping in different directions. it did not last long, in fact mere seconds after i noticed the Quebec flag quickly joined the Canadian flag, it was almost as if the only thing forcing it to flow with the wind was the fact that someone had noticed.
so i walked on home. only to get stoped by a little girl selling door to door chocolates and such, i decided to buy 2 but the girl did not have change, she called to the man who was looking out for the kids, (there were a few walking up and down the street) the man came over and i recognized him as the guy who works in the Valentines underneath paramount. he gave me change for my 10$ then i bought the chocolate and headed up the stair to my Apt.

i really wish i took my camera with me to school today
