Other than that there is no real purpose to this other than to say i finally uploaded part 2 of chapter 12 of my fanfic 'The Cure' on FF.net.
That chapter was about 9 or 10 months in the making and ended up about 32,800 words long.
Fffffffffffff cause i don't know how to cut shit off. I segment stories wierdly in my head. Whatever, i've had some good reviews so far ^.^ but Laura managed to leave me a note on AIM about a rather stupid mistake i made grammatically in one line.
"Sideswipe, though he acted the fool much of the time, was far from intelligent."
I meant that to be 'far from UNintelligent'. But gimmie a break, something is bound to go awry within a document that big XD I can only catch so much in segmented re-reading @.@
...OK, well i just sat here trying to think of something else to say, and I guess i could make a plea while i'm here.
IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MAYA 3D MODELLING SOFTWARE, OR KNOW OF A GOOD TUTORIAL, PLEASE HELP ME. I'M FRIGGIN HOPELESS WITH IT AND I NEE DTO LEARN IT FOR UNI 8C
Seriously, i was in tears on friday trying to follow what the fuck the guy was teaching us, but my program wasn't responding properly, and i had no idea what the basic tools were, you know? Like, i know basic selecting tools in Photoshop well enough, but Maya is a whole 'nother kettle of fish. this subject alone costs over $2000, i cannot afford to fuck this up, i need to learn, but there is no way i'm going to be able to under the lecturer we have, i am going to have to do it myself with tutes on my own time, but if anyone has basic tips they can tell me, i will love you forever. And probably write you porn. Because as you all know, that's my main currency XD
So, yea. That's about it. All my other subjects might as well be playtime. I'm learning non-digital animation techniques, storyboarding and character design, concept realisation and animation history. 3D is the only bane of my existance at the moment.
That and my body clock is having difficulty accepting my being in a class from 6-9 pm after having just been in a class from 3-6. Yea that one sucks. Thursday nights are pretty messed up.
