Maybe forced drawing DOES work.
Been doing sketches of just stuff for the beginning of my major jewellery final piece. The brief for tomorrow is 4x A3 concept sketches and 4x A3 technical sketches.
I haven't really been bothering to follow it heaps close, i have a bunch of random drawing related to shit i like... so horses, phoenixes, some chick, some concept image, more phoenixes.
I also have one sketch where i tried to get technical with my original idea of what i might do.
So i looked for the right kinds of music to insight awesomeness and hey, guess what, my fave song in the world ever gave me just the brainwave i needed and now i have an idea i think is out and out awesome.
Tomorrow i'll attempt to work out the technical aspects of the design. It's big, costumey and i have no idea what material its going to be made of.
Now i'll put my headache to bed ^^;
also, i just drew the biggest freehand human without a ref i think i've ever done and its actually in proportion (i think) oh the things music can do for me *worships it*.
