nah but srsly... it was hot today, and humid, as to be expected with aussie summer... filthy disgusting weather, perfectly normal for the past few weeks on and off.
Now, they said afternoon storms would roll in. OK, i'm good with that, a-typical fat-dropped rain due to the cooling upper atmosphere temperature meeting the rising humid air.
Not ten minutes after i got home (after walking from the bus stop, i had a shift at work that finished at 1 but i hung around and went home about 2.45 ) the storm i'de been eyeing on the near horizon hit.
no, scratch that, the MINI FUCKING CYCLONE ide been wathcing appraoch, hit.
I. have. NEVER. seen it rain that hard and that violent where i live.
Oh yea, i've been in the middle of a sleet storm on mt.kosiousko (or however you spell it) before, and that was sideways and shit, but i live in the outter suburbs of SYDNEY, not the mountians and not the sub-tropics.
It was like someone got a FUCKOFFBIG bucket and a couple of jet turbines and went 'IMA FIRIN A MAH LAZUR!'
You couldn't see through that rain and wind. And that was from the inside watching the outside.
Oh and our yellow gravillia bush broke. All our gravillia (i'm spelling it wrooooong) have been sick for ages, but one of the red blossom ones fell down a few days ago (and there was barely a root system to speak of not to mention a ring of white mould arounf the base) but i watched, WATCHED expecting to see the other red one go, and the yellow one snapped off at the base of the trunk... and neatly fell onto the other red one which we'd pulled out XD
so new plantage is needed.
But fo srs there was even a tiny bit of hail. And then once it passed there was this explosion of thunder like a bomb went off.
All in all pretty fucking awesome.
and then most everything was dry within two hours thanks to annoyingly hot weather.
ffffffffffffffffff.
i have more work tomorrow, and i discovered i got a pay cut when te old boss came back, NOT FUCKING HAPPY JAN >>>>8CCCC GODDAMN SONOFABITCH CHEAPASS.
i discovered i like fishy dim-sims today too. hooraaaay.
