so yea, i know that i haven't posted in a long time, and i don't expect this to be all to long, but i had a test in anthropology today, which was not at all chalenging, and actually it was quite enjoyable.... i love anthro...
anyway, so when your studying artifacts, and other remains you try and find out the age of what you've found right, well when you date something you can never know how old it actually is, but you can get really close, for example you'd say this object is about 200 thousand years old + or - "x" number of years, right... well that's called "relative dating".
so, i get to the test and there's obvously questions about relative dating. one of which being this: true or false- Relative dating is rarely used by anthropologists because of the negative biological effects it would have on their offspring.
hahahahaha! i had to cover my mouth as to not interupt the rest of the class from taking the test. also there was another question that was: What is relative dating?
a. an approx. date
b. not effective because you can't get a close/exact date
c. two cousins dating, which is normally a taboo in most cultures
that one was also hilarous, or however you spell that.
well this turned out to be longer than expected, but i didn't know who would all appricate this, but i know that most of you on here would, so i had to share my neardy excitment with some one who would appriciate it.
good night
and
good bye
the end
