safe and sound...
hola!
mexico was fun.. most of the time. my family is annoying, i don't think i can go on family vacations anymore. the only reason we really still go is because of michael. this was supposed to be our last one (since my sister's moving to ubc in september and i'm moving out next summer if all goes well) and then my mom's all talking about going again next january and i'm like "NO!". i mean it's sweet that i essentially get a free trip to mexico but they're so annoying all the time and i had to do all this stupid stuff i didn't want to do and it was one of only 2 weeks i get off work the whole year and i'd *almost* have preferred spending it at home so i could have seen you guys and joel and stuff. i won't bother going into any of the details of the annoyingness here but... yeah. it was annoying.
however the beach was awesome... i didn't get burnt at all except my forehead a little... we met some cool people and then some other less cool people... and we drank a lot. tequila is gross.
i spent like 2 hours with joel last night before i had to drop him off at a friend's house so he could go to las vegas... and most of it was spent talking to his mom. no between-vacation sex for us.
then today work was SO busy! the line was out the door consistently for the entire day. there was NO break! we all managed to get a half hour lunch break but we're supposed to also get two 15 minute "coffee" breaks and nobody got them. and at 4 when we're supposed to close, we couldn't close because the line-up blocked the door. and people are complaining about the long wait and how there's no parking spots and i'm like "MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID YOUR TAXES BEFORE APRIL 30TH BITCH!!!!!". yeah that's exactly what i said. in my head anyway.
OH YEAH!!! i checked my grades and i DIDN'T FAIL MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS!!!!!! I GOT A FREAKIN B-!!!!! i've never been so happy to get a B-... i was almost mad about it because i made such a big deal about how i did really bad and it's not one of those times where i said i did really bad but actually i did fine. because it turned out it kinda was one of those times. except that there's no way i could have gotten more than like 50% on the final (i left stuff blank and put in quite a few "joke" answers when i had no clue what to write) so every one must have done really bad, which i what i was hoping for, and it got curved up. basically.... i did really bad, but other people did even worse!!! YAY!!!!
i'm so happy to be home from work with NO homework. it's freakin awesome. i get to... watch tv!!! i hope friends is on........
