MY NIGHT WITH THE STROKES...
I <3 The Strokes
It was so kool, no joke.
me and chelsea went to the mall in the morning so i could get some new threads then got ready to go to the concert. we drove to the bowling alley after going the wrong way on 9 mile and running into a resturant to ask where this bowling alley was. we got there like 2 minutes late and i was kinda kinda yelling at chelsea, but it turns out that The Strokes were not going to get there until 5, which was 45 after we got there. So we started to bowl and we meet some new friends, aka jackie from chicago and josh from 89x. Then as i was in mid bowl, out of the my eye, i saw Albert walk in the door and i gasped under my breath.
So then me chelsea and jackie descended on the strokes and we got pictures with all of them and i got to hug JULIAN CASABLANCAS!!! EEK! then we began talking to all of the band and Nick and Nickioal were the nicest. The bowling alley was starting to close and we all had to be off to the concert. Since Jackie was from chicago i offered to drive her and her two friends to the concert down the road.
We got to the concert and meet spencer and dan and went into the doors and were in the 3rd standing row. and of course there were bitches that decided to puch there way infront of me and the gang and that didnt fly for long. But anywho the opening band was actually so good ~Dr. Dog~. then the real concert started!! and it was beatful, and ohmygosh since we were in the 3rd standing row once julian got onstage we seriously got crushed and i could feel everyones curves, i mean everyones curves. So with my arm being broken still i had to back it up. but it was kool because me and dan, after being seprated from chelsea and spencer, went crazy in the mosh pits. i know strokes concerts and mosh pits dont really go but they did last night.
The Strokes put on an excellent show and oncore which melted the faces of the youth attending.
Then the time came to where the night came to an end... sad i know... so me and chelsea, in one car, and spencer and dan, in another tried to qunch our turst at wendys where chelsea downed a glass of water and a frosty in seriously 2 minutes and i did the same with a pepsi and frosty, but what can you expect being drenched in sweat head to toe, no joke folks, it was kinda nasty, but we delt with it.
OHMY folks, this was the night of a life time. meeting the strokes was such a thing that i am going to remember for the rest of my life.
