THAT CODEPENDENCY POLL REMINDED ME
So Yachiru, ever since the first camp family tree post went up, calls certain people 'brother' or 'sister' or 'father' or 'mother.' This...is slightly misleading as to the way she views them. S-SO. This is how she actually sees her 'camp family' and it's sort of like a relationship list, only...I dunno. HANDY-DANDY CATEGORIZATION AND EVERYTHING. Because it's 2 AM and I'm starting to confuse myself. D:
11th Division (YES THEY GET A SECTION ALL TO THEMSELVES WHAT DID YOU THINK)
- Kenpachi
- Yumichika
- Ikkaku
ZARAKI KENPACHI IS THE BIGGIE. Everybody knows this. He's father, teacher, captain, etc. and basically the apple of Yachiru's eye. She came to camp looking for him, she had a bad emo trip when he vanished on her, and she's never going to be that last little bit herself until he comes back. On the other hand, she doesn't depend on him for survival. She can function without him, and...she has a sort of absolute confidence in Ken-chan. He'll win, he just got lost so he'll come back, he'll never die, he's eternal. I don't think they're ever separated for long in canon (they get lost together!) but she still has that blind faith in his terrible sense of direction that won't be dulled for a long, long time. If he ever died, that's another story, so let's just hope KT doesn't do it.
Yumichika and Ikkaku are, I think, the other two in 11th that she knows fairly well. The relationship there is pretty damned special. They're her sometimes-babysitters only YACHIRU GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR BED only HAY PACHINKO-DAMA FUNNY-BROW WUT'S BUKKAKE only LOL CRABBING YOU IN THE NUTS NOW only they kind of. Care. And she cares back but at the same time she'd be more accepting if bad shit happened to them. Because it's 11th Division policy. Do Not Involve In Other Members' Fights. Ikkaku she gets along with...easier? because they both speak shounen retard and like to hit stuff. But there's something there with Yumichika too--gay uncle and bratty niece-ism?--that's a bit deeper than 'we're in the same Division.' Coupled with the instinct to never, ever let her look at porn, ever. Yes.

Ahaha WELL. These're the people who Yachiru pretty much thought of as family before she started going on with 'neechan' and 'Papa' etc. etc. Hell, she doesn't even call Hanatarou 'brother.' This may be because he's 4th Division, I don't know. But it's completely like and yet not like the Division, because it's...not the Division. The major difference here is probably that if you screw with the people listed, Yachiru does not do the 'lol win or lose your own battles' thing but instead will NINJA OUT OF THE NIGHT AND COMPLETELY FUCK YOUR SHIT UP to the best of her ability. These are the people who will actually be able to coerce her into/out of things most easily if they go the right way about it. Because she respects them. As far as that goes.

These are the people she sort of adopted along the way (she does that quickly)--not as...high-priority as the groups above? She has the protective streak on them too, just...not as strongly. The difference here is probably that they didn't have the same level of retarded bonding experiences with Yachiru that the 'Close Camp Family' did. XD Another part of it is that she finds them fascinating for some reason, but doesn't quite know how to get at it. So she doesn't relate with them quite as easily, but she still does it.
Camp Family (Casual)

With these people the 'camp family' thing is just at a game-playing level to Yachiru--a sort of 'gotta catch 'em all mentality,' as weird as it sounds. They interest her A LOT and so she marks them in her head with the silly nickname and family-tag and then bugs them for all that she's worth. It's not really that serious with her, heh. OF COURSE, IT'S ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS WE GO. Casual camp family could go into the but-no-cigar family, who could move higher in mental importance, etc. It all depends!
(P.S. if you're a Nobody she will probably get your gender wrong.)

Ari and Ishida have this thing to Yachiru where they register a bit higher on her priority scale too. Because Ari is...Ari, she's sorta-kinda very slowly on her way to adopting him too, it's just that they don't talk much. Ishida she just finds really funny and...interesting, which may or may not have something to do with how close she's gotten to Ryuuken. Because Ryuuken and Yachiru talk, so he says stuff that makes her go 'bzuh?' and then she'll climb all over Ishida and try to figure him out.
Ichigo and Yuusuke are people who've 'proved a match' for Kenpachi, and she marks them high on her mental scale. Because remember, her priority is Ken-chan, and these two are good fighters. Plus she thinks they're funny, and she has a special thing going with Yuusuke too, on account of his little blue penguinsoul. Soi Fong and Renji also command a...slower sort of respect from her, what with their rankings and being shinigami from her world and all. Renji also gets some of the 'gay 11th uncle' relationship, but not as strongly because he left for the flowery Kuchiki captain. :/ And Soi Fong is part of the Shinigami Women's Association too, go figure.
Death and Delirium oh god. Even Yachiru can tell Death is special and big and dark and there unconsciously, and Death is a familiar thing and...yes well uh. FUNNILY ENOUGH Yachiru doesn't see anything wrong with Delirium and greets her as an even older friend than Death. And they can have an, er, 'straight' conversation. This is because 11th Division members are all, in their own way, mildly unhinged.
Hisoka and Tsuzuki just make her go ':D wut!' because they're shinigami from another world and that is one thing that is bound to keep her interest forever and ever.
Other People From Canon She's Met

- Rukia
Orihime is Yachiru's RIVAL IN LOVE. Rukia is 'that girl over there Icchy fought Ken-chan to save.' They don't...register terribly high rly beyond being people she knows from her own world, ahaha. Although Yachiru may squint at Rukia a lot to see what-all is so special about her.
At the same time, Yachiru is...deeply irritated with Rukia. Most of it's just a timing issue--Rukia is the first shinigami to come in after Kenpachi left--but some of it is the things she says and her attitudes. I don't know why.
Everyone Else
- ...everyone else.
Yachiru is friendly by default and she wants to get to know you if you're powerful. 8D
