Ned was looking at listings. Specifically, Ned was idly looking through various commercial spaces for lease. As time had progressed, he'd gotten more and more interested in having his own space, his own shop. Working for Allie's Donuts was nice but he was just a low man on a totem pole and he had ideas and ambitions, strangely enough.
He wanted to do more.
So, he had books and computer printouts spread out across his bed. He hadn't stuck just to places in Rhode Island since money would be a factor. He'd need something cheap, something small and something clean. He didn't want to end up in a sprawling metropolis or as the only shop in a country town.
A lot of the spaces were too expensive and some were just...not him. He kept looking though, occasionally making notes and separating things into neat piles. He didn't know if he'd find anything but the fact that he was looking was an accomplishment enough for him.
