Ned, as a rule, didn't watch much television. Most of the time it just didn't have any effect and, on rare occasions, it depressed him. Lately, though, he'd become enamored by Wheel of Fortune. No one talked about families, no one got hurt and it was mindless fun.

Of course, once Ned started solving the puzzles before the actual contestants, he started wondering if he was smarter than he thought. When he started frowning when people missed obvious letters, he wondered if he was just more observant than before. And when he started railing when people wasted their money on mindless vowels, he started to wonder if he should just stop watching Wheel of Fortune.

Maybe he'd move onto Jeopardy. Ned, you see, had a lot of free time when he wasn't out looking for work or seeing Kaylee. A lot. And this is how his time was spent.

[Establishy. NFB and method! Damned Wheel contestants!]
