Yesterday, when I borrowed a book from the library, two of the librarians flattered me, saying that I was a studious person. I guess they said that since I was the only person in the library during that 30-minute span, and I was probably the first person in the school year to borrow a book.
Hah. I'll prove them wrong right. I'm a little late on the proving by 10 years tops, but by golly I'm gonna prove them right.
As of today, this is my second consecutive day of staying in the library after dismissal, simply because I have homework. And that I am stuck at school for an hour and 15 minutes by default everyday. In a sense, I guess I have a good headstart, just like any other year.
I know most of you are avid readers, if not necessarily to the the bibliophile extent. Does anyone of you recommend a book? I would want something light. And nothing LOD/HP, Anne Rice, Stephen King, or Tom Clancey.
I believe the book will be my companion after I eat during recess or lunch. That is, if I even eat to begin with.
Thank you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a simple economics research to do.
