Another poem by me

Ode to My Sleeps and Dreams

Time has passed and the drains have drained
Without hope for the unsustained
Should you wish to exert further
First is to halt for whatever

When meals serve, a big bite is not
Teeth nibble away, a whole lot
Step-by-step everything has
Must you let dot be a large mass

First faced are the hits and torments
The Avatar of Elements
Fire and ice's unstable heirloom
Search keys to equilibrium

Once the paths are shut securely
Loud earthquakes destroys the quarry
Faults open to seething fluid
Yet the noises still have its lid

Your eyes are supposedly closed
Practically sees, at the most
Expected inactivity
Yet witnessed instability

Take a few steps, you see yourself
But never came closer to the shelf
You stared above and stood your ground
But your shoe stopmed on land unbound

It was different, magnificent
It surpasses the sun's descent
Around, familiar entities
Treading their own sanctuaries

Compared to where I would come back
After 8 hours, lest none I lack
I would prefer this dimension
As opposed to my first mention

If the door to my return's free
And unlocks with a large, brass key
I'll taint it with salt and pepper
And eat it. I'm here forever.
